What does the company sell?
We sell natural products with a range from organic herbs and spices, gourmet dips and mixes to natural personal care products and natural plant-based home care products. With a company that has been in business for over 140 years, Watkins has kept many of the original products and has added even more! There are now over 350 products available from our online catalog!
What are the start-up costs?
The basic associate package is $39.95 with upgrade options, but not requirements. Non-profit organizations can register their group as an associate for FREE and receive an income of 16-31.5% from all sales under their associate number.
What is the commission percentage/level?
All associates receive an automatic 25% discount on all products that they purchase for their own use or for resale. The percentage of commission increases as the sales volume increases. Higher levels of associate standings are achieved by sales volume and by adding representatives to your team. There are also many incentives given throughout the year such as cash bonuses, logo apparel, and travel prizes.
Is there support and training for new reps?
There is a lot of support for new reps both from up line managers as well as the Watkins Corporation itself. Associates can call, email, write and, in some cases, meet face to face with other associates, managers or executives. Because this company services both the United States and Canada, teams can be formed from associates all over the country. This does not hinder the online training, the monthly conference calls, or the sometimes daily phone calls and emails that fly back and forth.
What do you like most about this company?
I was initially drawn to Watkins because of the quality of the products I had used, but once I started hearing about the benefits of becoming an associate, I realized that I had nothing to lose by purchasing my own products as an associate. As I became more familiar and more fascinated with the products, it was easy for me to start selling these same products to others. I appreciate the fact that I am never pressured or coerced into purchasing more than I can afford, or moving faster than I am able as a stay at home mom. Watkins has a high standard for being an eco-friendly company by providing biodegradable packaging supplies, recycling whenever possible, and by encouraging us to do the same.
