As women of faith we can contribute profitably to our households by being frugal.
To me, frugality has two parts. The first is an aversion to spending money. You must take a close look at your spending habits and decide what are necessities and what are not. If you can live without it, don't buy it. Learn to enjoy saving money as much if not more than the enjoyment you would get from owning a particular item. Making Ends Meet
If you are looking to pick up some extra cash from home, please visit the work from home section for ideas. A simple way to make a few extra dollars is to complete online paid surveys. You won't make a lot of money, but every little bit helps. Lastly, you can effectively earn more by spending less. Check out the articles on frugality for ideas for spending less on household goods, bills, etc.
Those are practical ideas. Most importantly, if you are struggling financially seek out God through prayer.
