Thirsty

By Julie B Cosgrove

I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.  Psalm 143:6

Americans are chronically dehydrated according to many nutritionists. We are supposed to be drinking 6-8 glasses of water e day throughout the day, but instead we drink sodas and lattes. Our body is 55% water and needs water to transport nutrients to our organs, muscles and cells. Water also helps us flush out toxins and waste. If you become thirsty, you are already dehydrated.

Jesus told the woman at the well in Samaria that He could provide her with Living Water and she’d never thirst again. Many, many people out there are thirsty for Jesus and do not realize it. They are spiritually dehydrated and do not know why. They drink in other religions, philosophies the world offers. Their soul is not satisfied.

Take Him into your life, lift up a prayer to him throughout your day. Let His love flush the toxins and wastes from your heart, mind and soul.  Thirst no more.

I relatesomuch with what you refer to here. I started of with a serious thirst for information as i was growing up andi never seemed to find anybody i could talk to who wouldnt judge me. In the same way we thirst for God, for someone to love us nconditionally, someone thats okay with the way we are etc…God does, daily, no need to thirst anymore for whatever reason…yey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
