That is a beautiful picture of God's mercy. I live in Northern Virginia where we were blanketed with God's mercy - 2 1/2 to 3 feet of it. I struggled to be reminded of His mercy and grace and to not worry about details like whether or not my power was going to go out or how I would get to work. I told a friend that it would be great to be a kid and revel in the fact that school was closed and all there was to do was play in the snow or play with friends. No worries and all fun. As I said those words I was convicted that as a Christian I can also celebrate in the fact that no matter what God has me in His hands and He continues to provide for my every need even through an unexpected blizzard. Thanks again for also reminding me of His mercy.
